As EU citizens Brits can work in Denmark without any restrictions at present. However, you need to apply for a registration certificate (proof that you are legally able to work in the country) within 3 months of your arrival in Denmark (6 months if you are a jobseeker).

Schools in Denmark
Speaking English is compulsory in secondary schools and most local people can speak it fluently. The standard of education is excellent and considered one of the best in Europe.
Attendance is compulsory for children between the ages 6-16 years. All expat children will need a Danish identity number before they can enrol in any Danish school.

Healthcare in Denmark
Healthcare provision in Denmark is state-funded and of an exceptional standard. As a permanent resident when you are registered with the Citizens’ Services, you will be issued with an identification number and health insurance card which will entitle you to full access to universal healthcare.
Some expats are fortunate enough to have private health care provision included as part of their employment contract or relocation package. Because of the high quality, most Danes are happy to use public health however, particularly as these services are often very expensive.
