GoodMove Becomes Corporate Member Of Essex Wildlife Trust

GoodMove is delighted to announce that it has been admitted as a corporate bronze member of Essex Wildlife Trust.

Admission to the Trust underlines the company’s commitment to reduce its environmental impact and help protect the wildlife heritage of Essex.

As an investor GoodMove is partnering with the county’s leading conservation charity and one of the largest wildlife trusts in the British Isles.

Working alongside more than 37,000 existing members GoodMove will support the charity as it manages and protects over 8,400 acres of land covering:

  • nature reserves
  • parks and
  • visitor centres

The company’s renewed membership will help finance existing conservation habitat management. It will also support other exciting projects, including:

  • Purchasing additional land adjacent to the existing natural reserve at Wrabness on the Stour Estuary.
  • Starting a Polecat project which will see its reintroduction to the county.
  • A barn owl conservation project which has ringed 164 barn owl chicks to date.
  • Reintroducing Black Honey Bees at Abberton Reservoir.
